British Stallion show - Hartpury 28 Jan

The big stallion show in the UK is at Hartpury on the 28th January, and the stars from The Stallion Company will be there.

Grafenstolz, Esteban, Royaldik and Rubicell will all be there, along with the absolute star, and the UK's most important jumper stallion, Parco.

We've bought Parco!!

As part of our continued growth and following a very successful 2011, we have bought the legendary jumping stallion Parco, and he will stand at our new stallion centre at Pelion Stud near Reading, UK.

We all remember Parco's sporting career, with 4th at the Olympics, 4th Europeans (2 appearances), 7th World Cup Final (4 appearances), 9th WEG. He is a legend.

Nino des Buissonets 2nd in WC rankings

Kannan's current best product, Nino des Buissonets (out of a Narcos II mare), currently lies second in the FEI World Cup standings, following three top five finishes in the last four Grand Prix.

Kannan world #5 and #8!!

Kannan has finished 2011 as the world's #5 jumping sire with over 7500 points, almost twice last years score which saw him leap to 8th.

Equally, he has finished as the world's #8 eventing stallion. Leaving The Stallion Company as the world's number one eventing stallion owner, with Rubicell #40 and Esteban #71.

Lilian's daughter is for sale

Our super mare Lilian, who is the mother of Olympic team gold medallist Butts Leon, has her daughter Leonie selected for the Top Eventers sale on 13th November.

Leonie has already bred a few foals, but is now competing in eventing.

She is sure to be an auction topper!

Kannan looking good for top 5 finish

Our flagship stallion, Kannan, finished 2010 at #8 in the WBFSH jumping sire rankings, and at #83 in the eventing sire rankings.

As the rankings points close, we can confirm that he has over 6800 points in 2011, which would have given him fourth in the 2010 jumping sire rankings. So we're keeping our fingers crossed for a top five ranking this year.

Graf second in Express Eventing final

Not content with the success of his offspring this year, Graf came out of retirement to take a superb second place at this years Express Eventing final, losing by only 0.3 points after a time fault in the showjumping.

Graf was the only horse to go double clear in the event, which I understand was incredibly exciting (I was in New Zealand at the time).
