How to order?

By the time you come to order, you will probably already have spoken to us, so you should know the form.  But the more time you give us the less stressful life will be.  Read very carefully the breeding conditions for each stallion, we aren’t here to catch anyone out, but each stallion owner has their own conditions and these differ between stallions. 

We are breeders ourselves, and therefore fully understand the stresses and strains of existing in an increasingly competitive industry. Whilst we of course represent our owners, our primary concern is to get your mare pregnant. To this end, we have chosen to import only stallions known to have good quality semen, which doesn’t necessarily mean that it looks great under the microscope, but that it gets mares pregnant. 

From time to time, there will be problems. We give you our assurance that we will do everything possible to help you get your mare in foal, we will occasionally perform miracles, but we remain only human.

So when you call us, please have ready:

3 - Your credit card

4 - Your vets full contact details

Once we have all these on file we can process the order and ship the semen.  We do not ship any semen without prior payment.

Grafenstolz and Royaldik

Both owned by us, and we give a full live foal guarantee.  Once you have paid, the contract will only be completed when you have a viable foal, standing and nursing at 48 hours.  If your mare dies, you may substitute another mare.  Fresh/chilled semen is available every day throughout the season.  They both stand at our centre in the UK.

Kannan

Again owned by us, but he stands in France which means that if you want chilled semen, you or your vet will need to contact us the instant that your mare is in season.  The French Government vets are rigid about the European Union rules and so health papers take a little longer.  You and your vet will need to be organised and remember to call us.  Or a stock of super quality frozen semen is held at our centre in the UK and various centres in Ireland.

Jaguar Mail, Quite Easy, Alligator Fontaine

All three are by standard live foal guarantee.  We keep stocks of frozen semen in the UK, the chilled is possible with all three, but you need to be organised and keep us informed of when the mare comes into season.

Tinka’s Boy, Epsom Gesmeray and Lando

All three are by standard live foal guarantee.  We keep stocks of frozen semen in the UK, and no fresh/chilled is available.

Cicero van Paemel

Live foal guarantee with the fresh/chilled semen when shipped from Belgium.  You must keep us up to date, as he is in competition and only available at certain times.  We will give a live foal guarantee with the frozen only if the mare is inseminated at our centre in the UK.  Other than that, one dose of frozen semen is sent out per cycle until the mare is pregnant in the first year.

Baloubet du Rouet and Canturo

Both are sold by pregnancy up to a maximum of three breeding seasons from the year of payment.  Only frozen semen is available and we keep the stock at our centre in the UK.

Mighty Magic, Flipper d’Elle and Lord Calando

Are sold by dose only, with a minimum of two doses per order.  We offer a live foal guarantee on all of these if the mare in inseminated at our centre.

Diamond Hit, Furstenreich, Chequille Z, Lancet, Fifty Cent and Longton

All are owned by Emma Hindle at Brookhouse Stud.  We have a stock of frozen semen in the UK already, which saves you the cost of shipping from Germany (although there is a cost of shipping around the UK).  Two doses of frozen semen will be dispatched per breeding fee, with a 30% fee charged for each subsequent doses sent out.   For fresh/chilled semen you must order the semen 48 hours in advance of the mare ovulating, because we need to prepare the health papers.  Should your mare be inseminated with fresh/chilled semen and not be pregnant on the 1st September of that year, a 50% credit will be given for the following year.

Wie Weltmeyer

Also owned by Emma Hindle, but he will be standing at our centre in the in UK.  The conditions are the same as for all Brookhouse Stud stallions.
